# DevFellowship

> DevFellowship (DFL) is not a school — it's a crew. We train young builders from the Global South to deliver world-class work and reach real financial freedom: they work while they learn, and earn while they grow. GitHub > Diploma.

DevFellowship is a venture builder and project-based-learning movement, built in Brazil, focused on the Global South. We don't train developers — we train founders who code. Instead of handing out certificates, we point at what fellows actually shipped: real projects, real pay, a GitHub history, and a bank account.

**Manifesto lines:** "Stop asking permission to start." · "We teach what the market pays — and pay you to learn it." · "While they ask for your diploma, you show your bank account." · "We don't train developers. We train founders who code." · "DevFellowship isn't a school. It's a crew." · Motto: *Learn. Build. Reborn.*

**How the program works (project-based learning):** Weekly meetings and self-paced content tracks built by the team. Fellows progress through three steps:
1. **Microtasks** — Start small, get paid. First tasks pay R$80–100 each. You ship from week one — no "come back when you have experience."
2. **Sandbox** — Build in a low-pressure arena. Real but internal, low-risk projects with no deadline pressure, raising delivered points and throughput run after run.
3. **External clients** — After ~6 months you're ready for external projects, brought in by satellite companies (e.g. Revera). Now you get paid like a builder, not a student.

**Stacks we train:** TypeScript · Postgres · AI Engineering · Web3. Heavy on AI-assisted development; Web3 is our high-conviction, off-the-beaten-path bet.

**Proof, not promise (last 6 months, from the work schema):** ~R$136k+ distributed to fellows · 26 active fellows · 206 deliveries · 9 projects. Hackathon wins: 1st place at Token Nation 2026 (Chainlink track, with AltPay) and ETH LatAm 2025 (Base track — RefuConnect, GreenLoop). Anchor institutional partner: Instituto Educar Mais (Educar+) — community youth who stood on an international hackathon stage and won.

**Venture builder / satellites:** DevFellowship is the core. Around it orbit satellite companies, and fellows themselves build companies around the core. **Revera** is the studio arm — production software for real clients. **Itera** is the learning arm — the training engine packaged for schools and institutes (coming soon).

**For institutions:** Founder to founder, not vendor to procurement. Institutions bring the young talent and regional reach; DFL brings the culture, the pedagogy (PBL), and the microtask engine that turns potential into shipped work. We partner with social institutes training youth, colleges & technical schools, and companies hiring squads of fellows.
